I usually check Facebook from time to time to see how everyone is doing. I really enjoy seeing the pictures of family events that show the love and joy of your family and friends in your life. It really warms my heart because I can see God's Grace and Mercy at work in your lives and I thank God for the joy he brings into your lives. My heart is also warmed by the requests for prayers when you or a family member or friend is going through a trial or tribulation, or even those valleys of sorrow that we all have faced. And then. .. I see the praise reports. .. where a love one is healed, the surgery was successful, a new baby, a graduation, and through it all I see God's hand in the mist of it.
Now. .. it's easy to praise God when we can clearly see His miracles, but sometimes I think we forget that each day is a miracle from God. .. Let's just take a second. .. and think about today. .. It does not matter what you may be going through at this very moment as you read this. .. if you believe that God is in control. .. It does not matter what anyone says to you if it is contrary to the Will of God for you. .. It does not matter what people think about you or your situation. ..what really matters is what you think about God. .. because He loves you and His love is unconditional. .. So why would we not praise such a God with every breath we have? .. why would we not praise Him for the daily walk He gives. .. why would we not praise and glorify Him for simply being God. The book of Psalms is full of praise for our Lord and Savior. .. and I was asking God which one should I share in this post?. .. as I read through different Psalms, they all were so powerful I just did not know which one to choose. .. and at that moment He dropped these words into my heart. .. Psalms 34: 1-5.
I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord; the humble shall hear thereof and be glad. O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. .. I sought the Lord, and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. ..They looked unto Him and were lightened, and their faces were not ashamed.
He is worthy and I will praise His name forever. ..
(Ephesians 3: 14-21) For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. .. that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breath, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.
Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, unto Him be Glory in the Church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
