It's A Lifestyle

Being saved. .. living as a believer. .. what does it mean. .. Often times we have our own opinions as to what that means. .. but our definition of that does not always line up with what God expects of us. .. so when that happens. .. what do you do?. Look at what the word of God says. .. It's not an opinion. .. its the word of God. So what does the word of God say about your lifestyle?. .. There are several scriptures that should be the foundation of how you live daily. .. not just on Sunday. .. but daily. ..and Psalm 1: 1-2 sets the standard for that lifestyle. ..Bless is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scronful; But delights in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditated day and night. . . And here is how you do that.. ..By living a healthy lifestyle. ..we sometimes diet or try to eat healthy for our physical body. .. but what about your spirit. .. 1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 asks us. .. Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. .. and therefore I close with this scripture. ..Romans 12: 1-3. ..I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. .. It's a lifestyle. .. and we live it for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. .. If there is anything or anyone in your life that does not echo the power of these these scriptures. .. you need to reevaluate what are are doing as it relates to the word of God. .. God's standard for us has not changed. .. Don't let any of the nonsense of the world distract you. .. As a believer. .. look at the fruit. ..Galatians 5: 22. .. if it doesn't look like that. .. reevaluate your life ..Be Blessed.
