The Simplicity of Being Saved

What must a person do to be saved? You can't buy salvation, your social status will not grant you salvation, you can't be a good person and expect that you are saved, simply because you are a good person. The word of God says, And Jesus said unto him, Why do thou call me good? there is none good but one, that is God. God allowed his son Jesus to die for our sins, and He was raised from the dead on the third day(1 Corinthians 15:3-4). It is God's Grace that saves us. All you have to do is simply believe you are a sinner and that Jesus died for your sins, and ask God to forgive you for your sins. Then start the journey of turning away from sin. Will you sin again? absolutely you will. The walk with God is a daily walk and that walk becomes more consistent when you immerse yourself in His word. God looks at your heart, and it is His Grace that saves you when you confess your sins. By grace are you saved through faith and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works least any man should boast (Ephesian 2:8) . ..
