What Are you Hearing. ..?

Hearing is one of those skills that is priceless. .. one can learn so much about an individual just by hearing. .. Jesus says in Matthews chapter 11, verse 15, He that has ears to hear, let him hear. ...

Now the word of God also says in Numbers 23 verse 19, God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Over the last year there have been several Pastors and Ministers who have said that they have heard from God. ... and that God has told them certain things that would come to past. ... A great many of these Pastors and Ministers said that God said Donald Trump would win reelection. .. that Joe Biden would not be the 46th president of the United States. .. now this is not a political message. .. but it is one that will challenge those who have told you that they have heard from God. .. and God said this or that. ..

The Book of Jeremiah chapter 23 states. .. Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture, saith the Lord. .. The sheep of God's pasture are scattered when pastors operate within their flesh and try to say that God has spoken their words, but it is nothing more than their lustful desires that they dare associate with God. .. But the word of God says in Deuteronomy Chapter 18 verse 20. .., the prophet who presumes to speak a word in My name that I have not commanded him to speak, or who speaks in the name of other gods, that same prophet shall die. .. (21) and if you say in your heart, how may we know the word that the Lord has not spoken?

(22)When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the word does not come to pass or come true, that is a word that the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously. .. You need not be afraid of him. ..

What have you heard. .. has it truly been a word from the Lord. .. did it come to pass as they said it would. .. or did they speak it presumptuously. ..?

1 John chapter 4, verse one. .. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets are gone out into the world. ..

Please understand. ... if your spiritual leader is guilty of putting their words in God's mouth. .. know this. ... 2 Peter chapter 1 verse 20 states. .. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. .. (21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. ..

You have heard these stories. .. if it did not come to pass. .. God did not speak it. ..look at their fruit. .. the word of God says you will know them by their fruit. ..

Jesus said in Matthew 24 verse 11. .. and many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. .. Don't be deceived. .. know what you are hearing is from God. .. If it did not come to pass. .. it was a lie from one who does not know God. .. and has deceived you. ..

2 Timothy chapter 4 verses 3-4 states. ..For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. . I believe we are in that time now. ..

Don't be deceived. .don't allow your flesh in what you are hearing . .. hold you captive to suit your own passion. .. God is not man that he should lie. .. stand on God's word. .. read it for yourself. .. ask God to open His word to you. ..pray for knowledge and understanding. ..
